It’s less about having a closet full of trendy clothes and more about finding really good versions of pieces you’ll wear over and over again.

10. Pops of Purple

Fall wardrobes are usually filled with neutral colors, but purple is showing up as one of the unexpected accent colors of the season.

Deep plum and royal purple are especially pretty paired with chocolate brown, camel, gray, or dark denim. You definitely don’t need a head-to-toe purple outfit! A sweater, scarf, handbag, or pair of shoes is plenty to give your fall wardrobe a fresh update.
