Homemade Hot Cocoa

| |

Hello and welcome to the blog!!! Glad to have you here! Today I am sharing my Grandma’s homemade hot cocoa recipe! It’s been a go to in our family for decades. It’s yummy and not too sweet. I love to finish mine off with a large dollop of whipped cream! It also makes the perfect neighbor, teacher, coworker or whoever gift! I made a fun and cute label to go along with it. You can find the link at the end of the post.

Here’s what you need. Now this makes a lot, so get a really large mixing bowl!

32 oz bag Powdered Sugar

(2) 8 OZ cans Cocoa Powder. Ghirardelli is best, but any brand will do

22 oz or larger Powdered Coffee Creamer

1 Large bag Powdered Milk I used a 25.6 oz bag

Extra large mixing bowl and whisk

Add the ingredients one at a time and mix after each addition, so you make sure it’s all getting combined.

I scooped my hot cocoa into glass jars, but you can use any sealed container to give them out as gifts.

I also added a cute label you can print HERE, click download then print, and a cute little wooden scooper with yarn. This is a fun and cute gift! You could also add a coffee mug or give it with a cute throw blanket and slippers. I hope you try this out! Happy Holidays!!
