Bathroom Decor

|

Raise your hand if you love a fresh and clean bathroom. I know I do! Just a few little changes can make your bathroom feel updated without breaking the bank. Here are some tips to refresh your space on any budget!

Shower Curtains

Bathrooms are full of hard, cold-feeling materials. Shower curtains bring a softness to the space. They typically run the length of the wall, so they can make a big statement. They can quickly be changed out which makes it such an easy update! Be sure to pair fabric shower curtains with a plastic liner.

Bath Towels

I’m a sucker for functional decor, so things like bath towels are exciting! They come in so many pretty colors, designs, and textures which are perfect for adding style to your bathroom! I love hanging them on hooks or pegs, or even folding them over the side of the tub!

Trays

Trays keep your bathroom counters looking organized by defining spaces for specific things. I like to have a little tray or dish for handsoap and a scrubby. It’s also nice to have a tray to hold containers for cotton balls, q-tips, and other items you like to have easy access to. Small trinket dishes are good for everyday jewelry. Relax in your bathtub with a book, candle, and drink on a nice tub tray.

Handsoap Dispenser

There are so many cute choices for handsoap dispensers. And they act as decor for your counter!

Rugs

Rugs add warmth to a cold bathroom floor. Runners are great for double vanities or you can also use two single rugs in front of each sink. If you have a large master bathroom, you can use a 5×7 for a big statement.

Stools

Stools are so handy in a bathroom! They are perfect for holding towels or your pajamas. Little ones can use a sturdy stool to reach the faucet. And they are a great place to sit while you put your shoes on!

Long Mirrors

There should be at least one full-length mirror in every house! Bathrooms are definitely a good place for one! They also make for nice Instagram selfies! Haha!

Hand Towels

Hand towels are fun because there are tons of cute, affordable ones! And since you have to swap them out for clean ones so often, you should have some fun with it!

Artificial Plants

Even if it’s artificial, I like adding a plant to a bathroom because it adds a bit of life to the space. You can place one on the counter or the back of the toilet. If you use a vase, you can change the stems out seasonally.

Containers

Keeping hair ties, jewelry, q-tips, cotton balls, and more in jars or containers helps your countertops and drawers stay organized. Grouping containers on a tray is a nice look!
