Mini Grinder Sandwiches

these are the best appetizer or as a meal. Everyone will love them!!
Servings: 24 sandwiches
Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Deli Meat
  • 24  Hawaiian rolls
  • 6-10 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 bag shredded Iceburg Lettuce
  • 1/2 Red Onion, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp submarine dressing
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped banana peppers
  • for butter sauce
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
  2. Cut the mini rolls or dinner rolls in half horizontally.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the rolls on a baking sheet.
  4. Add the cheese and deli meats to the bottom halves of the roll ensuring the cheese is the bottom layer.
  5. Bake the rolls in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are warmed through.
  6. While the rolls are baking, prepare the grinder salad by combining mayo, red wine vinegar, honey, spices, banana peppers, dijon mustard, and submarine dressing.
  7. Once the rolls are finished baking, remove them from the oven and spread the honey butter dill sauce on the top halves of the rolls.
  8. Return the rolls to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 or until the top halves of the rolls are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Assemble the mini grinder sandwiches by placing a spoonful of the grinder salad on top of the deli meats.
  10. Serve the mini grinder sandwiches!
